Just to clarify how Canada is governed. Canada only
has one Prime Minister his name is Steven Harper, then
each province has a Premier.
Ontario's new Premier is named Kathleen Wynne and sadly she has stated that supports the Liberal Party Line that brought in BSL.
Here is a recent response from our new premier on a
letter just recently sent. NOTE that she refers to her and her partner
having two dogs at one time.
Dear Name withheld due to request.
Thank you very much for writing me, and taking the time to participate
in this important conversation.
Molly and Buster, our “twins”, were fantastic companions. I truly
enjoyed all of the privileges of being a pet owner - the unconditional love,
the greetings after a hard day’s work and the daily walks. I also
enjoyed the responsibilities of pet ownership, and that included ensuring that
our dogs were well trained and didn’t pose a risk to public safety.
Ontario Liberals made the decision to restrict pit bulls. After a series
of horrific accidents around the province, we decided that the interests of
public safety would be best-served by restricting that particular breed.
My position is that repealing this legislation would be a step backwards.
I hear your concern and I know that this legislation has presented
challenges for some dog owners, but I believe that all Ontarians want what is
in the best interests of public safety.
All the best,
Kathleen
So we know that is standing by BSL. Again, we are taking measures
to again put pressure on the Liberal Party to repeal the ban. We are
currently working on several projects to this endeavor, but it looks
like a new election may be forthcoming, and VOTES alone for the liberals
to lose seats and there power is the only way at this time
This means that those against the ban need to
get political and get involved and get out and vote. We are assured a
new bill will be re tabled, however we do not know when
Taki list otrzymałam w nocy nie ma szans :/
